The aim of the minor is to gain an in-depth understanding of Moroccan society along with the acquisition of skills in doing ethnographic research in a North African society. NIMAR provides students with in-depth knowledge about Moroccan culture and society through weekly guest lectures. However, in order to become an expert on Morocco, you have to immerse yourself in its exotic culture and adapt to the Moroccan lifestyle in your everyday life.
