Universities of Applied Sciences

NIMAR offers education and other services to Dutch Universities of applied sciences. This involves a differentiated range of courses, minors, study trips and internships that are offered together with universities of applied scienses. NIMAR aims to expand this offer.

NIMAR offers two educational programmes for the university of applied sciences, in which HBO students can also join us. The Arabic language acquisition programme, the Rabat semester, is also being followed by students of the oriental language training programme and communication at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in Maastricht. Advanced HBO students can apply for the minor "Culture and Society in Morocco". They may be admitted on the basis of a motivation letter.

The Hague University of Applied Sciences organises the Summer School "Sustainable Business in Africa" for Dutch, Moroccan and international HBO students. In addition, groups of HBO students can also take part in a content programme at the NIMAR as part of a study trip. In this way, for example, students of the study International Business and Languages from the NHL (Leeuwarden), Avans, Academy of Social Studies (Breda), Fontys University of Applied Sciences (Tilburg), Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Fashion Department (Enschede) and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (Rotterdam) visited NIMAR.
