The Hague Summer School in Rabat
Sustainable entrepreneurship in Africa
The Hague University of Applied Sciences organizes a module of its summer school in Rabat, in cooperation with NIMAR, from 2 until 13 July.
During this English-thaught module, students are given a specific business problem that they have to solve in an international, multicultural and multidisciplinary team. They gain in-depth knowledge and practical insights from speakers from THUAS, Leiden University, entrepreneurs and non-governmental organisations active in Africa.
Every morning, from Monday to Thursday, inspiring lectures are held that include real-life stories and interactive discussions of business issues. In the afternoon, students work to solve their business case in workshops. In the evening, students can explore the vibrant city of Rabat, where the module is taught.
On the first Friday of this module, students can visit a local company. During the last Friday of the module, a closing event is organised in which students present their work to each other and relevant stakeholders.
The Hague Summer School is open to anyone who has completed a first year bachelors degree or already has a bachelors degree. You should have a good working knowledge of the English language (level B2 or higher) before you apply. One of the most important entry criteria to summer school is your ambition.
